This means England Top Pool C and France finish 2nd. Everything will be done to get the Pool A matches played but likely if the impact of the typhoon is bad in the area Japan vs Scotland will be cancelled as a scoreless draw and Japan will top Pool A with Ireland finishing 2nd.

So with two draws in the books for Saturday (Italy finally don't lose to the All Blacks) we come down to the final matches of the group stage. Scotland vs Japan if it goes ahead will decide Pool A and Wales should pick up the bonus to win Pool D and force the Wallabies to face England in the Quarter Finals

Don't care about the ABs vs Italy and even the England vs France isn't a massive deal despite it impacting who the Wallabies face.

The Group A battle tripod is one of the greatest showdowns in Rugby history though, with all 3 teams evenly poised and the ability for it to go so many ways.

Rugby WC pool stages have been pretty dour before and I really hope they can get these matches played in some capacity.

Shocking that Japan is in the typical typhoon period and had no back up plan.

Bastards didn't have any Plan B after Kokoda either.

You would have thought that they would have a back up ready after almost having France-United States match cancelled due to a different typhoon.

The high tackle stuff is a bit ridiculous. All for protecting the head but what else is he supposed to do in that situation?

Yet Beale gets knocked out unconscious, play on.

What sh!ts me is that Georgia on their 5 metre line give away 3 penalties in the space of a minute and all they get is the ref talking to the captain when a yellow should be given, but the first time a Wallaby does something, it straight off!

This is exactly what it will look like next week. No space, slow ball movement but England will be fitter and more clinical the other way.
