This was just a horrible case, I can't even imagine the torment his mother must go through, it would be constant.

If it's one thing the search for Madeleine McCann did, it was to help highlight the flaws in Portugal's really lax child protection laws.

At the time Madeleine went missing, Portugal was a favourite holiday destination for perverts and paedophiles where watching child pornography on the beach or in a coffee shop wasn't illegal.

Human trafficking for cheap labour is still a big problem.

I'm not into true crime as a general rule, but yeah I saw that last night after I saw this video on YT and Googled the story.
