Rule question

Interesting discussion here tonight. We seek an answer. If a player kicked the ball 15 metres and ran on and marked his own kick, is it a mark?
Even that Connor McKenna bullshit, where he kicks it to himself instead of bouncing is in the rules, specifically calling it as a free kick against if he runs more than 15m. That doesn’t count as a bounce. Neither does hand balling to yourself.

So, your scenario would be a free kick AGAINST.

How high would he have to kick it to be able to make it the 15 metres to mark it?
