Chelsea Heights few decent recruits if the grapevine can be believed this early - Rick Bean as reserves coach across from mordi, an ex-afl player delisted last season, couple of very handy players from rival sfl clubs and also gippsland clubs. Should push for finals if this is correct.

Mordi losing Bean as reserves coach, replaced with David Rhys-Jones. Player losses include Ogier, Kirkland (Black Rock), Grose (BR), White (BR), McNeill, young Beaner. Some decent losses & haven't heard of any significant new recruits as yet.

Luke James gone to a west gippy club... catani or somewhere in ellinbank.
Heard Vaisallo (not sure if thats how you spell it) may be gone from Springy???

Surely there must be a few more alledged or confirmed movements going on in division 1 - has been very quiet lately..

St Pauls have never been out of divy 1
can remember when st kilda won a premiership went straight down to divy 2 coz money had ran out like to see what happens to st kilda citys coach decides to leave weather thats in a couple of years heard nathan carroll is at st kilda he will fit in well wif all those other nuffys

and credit to you for getting a full list and paying nothing for it,in this day and age quite hard to do some would say impossible....any news on james for me tiger i know you are quite close is he going to be a dog

in all honesty, most supporters will buy grog from the club bar, however there is always a select few (which im sure all clubs have), that try and save a buck for themselves. It's not a matter of not supporting the club, its a matter of them not being able to afford it.

I do enjoy a beer & having watch a game or 2 at the Peanut Farm a must admit, not the coldest beer i've ever sampled.

Gav is dual captain of the Springvale Districts and is not going anywhere. As a player of the club, all we hope to achieve this year is vast better performance than last year. Going on our current pre-season, we are heading in the right direction. Much more work to be done. Some handy recruits down at Newcomen Road for season 2009. THAT IS ALL. CARN DEMON!

spoke to him the other day, pretty much playing for catani...........will be missed down at dogland but with the list they have this year should be alright.

wouldn't rule out a return back to st pauls the season after or down the track either.

st pauls will also miss daniel O'Reliey but hav a few handy pick ups witch should be handy any news on chelt

j.english has left and gone down to beauy sharks.
a couple of others have gone down to beauy too, except for juzze the others that went down to beauy were in dingley's 2's last year.

justin english is a fringe div 2 player, would be struggling in div 1

Have heard from a very good source, that tooronga malvern have been very active in their endeavors to recruit players. That is, they have been trying to poach many players from clubs within the SFL. They have contacted no less than 3 of Dingley's top 10 players.
Have also heard they have chased a number of Heatherton, St Kilda City and Oakleigh players.
They seem to be one of those clubs that give you the impression of being moral, yet act in a very, very different way.
Have also heard, the club put them on a no footy forum policy, trying to keep themselves under wraps.
A bunch of deadset muppets is Tooronga Malvern FC.

i've been put on a no-footy forum policy many a times but seem to find my way back here.

I think tooronga have lost McLay to the WAFL? one of their better players from memory.

They had a good outfit last year, and did look like they may be one of the teams to challenge the top 4 of Clayton, St Pauls, Cheltenham and St Kilda City.

Will be interesting to see how they go.

p.s. how funny is the guy that plays 2's there, the big ruckman is like 7 ft tall and looks like he came right out of Lord of the rings.
