Best recruiting looks to be done by
St Kilda - Murray Silver + some others from Rowville
- Daniel Ward (massive pick up)
- Harris from De La
- Kreppy from....some where
Chelsea Heights have picked up a few which surprised me could be massive movers in '09'
Unfortunately some pre' seasons see players move on....
Clayton missing half their team which is very dissapointing, hope they can rebuild through their juniors sooner rather than later and Mordiallic with some of their bigger names deciding to move on.

been going down to springers and watching dingley train and they look shocking,be lucky to win a game this year.they have no numbers and look very unfit.i also seen keysy training next to them and they had something like 57 at training,will be a very strong unit this year.i hear half off clayton have gone there along with a few springy boys,interesting

Think what you will about Dingley, they will make top 4.

As for Keysborough, the clayton boys they have picked up are all well over the hill, and the springy boys, only 2 from memory, left because they knew they wouldn't get a game at springvale this year.
Keysborough have approached their season wrong, and will be lucky to make the top 4. The only good thing to come out of their many dud recruits, is apparently backman Davor Rajic is moving better than he has in years. The rest of their so called recruits, fit or not, aren't worth a pinch of $hit.

Normally this is about the time I would along with many other people would abuse the crap out of you. Instead, why don't you explain in football terms how on earth the Dingoes are going to make such an improvement.:cool:

  1. Goodes,Moose & Currie will play a big part in the Burra's season 2009.
  2. Springy reqruits will have to step up ,but if given a go may suprise some critics.
  3. All players commented above would walk in to the Dingley FC senior side.

hey whip dick im from springy and the 2 players that left us r our vice captain and a gun player and whould get a game with us any day,can play football and u r lucky they arnt playing with us this year cause we r gunna smash u guys,that is all

No one will get near St Pauls & St Kilda City
They are far superior than any other sides in this competition
Both these clubs will be 2-3 goal better sides then last year.
Times come for everyone to get off the :):):) because you might as well lock it in Eddie, St Pauls Vs St Kilda Grand final replay...

Everyone down at the clubs knows it's a big step for us this year and we're not looking too far ahead.

Yes to play finals would be great in our first year up but being realistic making sure we stay in Div 1 for a few years would be more our aim.

Haha the dissapointing thing for the SFL is thats probably true at the moment. I would have liked to see Chelt get a new coach to bring 2-3 players and retain their current list, that would be a very strong top 3 sides.

If Attard and Ogier are both playing for Chelsea I wouldn't mind picking them for 4th spot, would give them the depth that they've been missing.

Preliminary draw was released yesterday for the first four rounds. There are 15 teams!

Off the top of my head, they are as follows....

Highett
St Kilda City
Mordialloc
St Pauls
Cheltenham
Chelsea Heights
Dingley
Ashwood
Narre Warren Foxes
Hampton
Oakleigh Districts
Skye
Caulfield
Heatherton
Murrumbeena

plus Doveton Eagles might get a team together

Great effort by all involved if all 15 teams get up and going.

Struggler talks on behalf of our seconds, as does birdy77.

If you would like to take a look at the top 4 side, get along to our tri athlon on sunday morning, where most of our 1's players will be in full flight, as well as maybe a few 2's like birdy and struggles.

Everyone at the club is quietly confident of knocking off cheltenham, mordi, clayton. We are actually concentrating on st kilda city and st pauls, the only 2 teams we believe will give us any competition.
superfreak, get your hand of your tic tac, if you think cheltenham will be any match for a top 3 position. recruit a few players with heart, and you may get some respect.
