He's decided to captain our thirds for 2009...
He wanted to play a higher standard of football...

Big pete is back after one season off and i will dominate div3 ruckman by a mile. Mount boys are happy for me to be back now wilkin gone.
I asked a bloke involved with Mount and he says Wilkin is laughing at rumours he has left/is leaving. The Mounts are safe with their ruckman it seems.

let the 3am prank calling begin!!!
Actually he would.. I have a very reliable source (member of the Clayton FC committee - SFL Div 1 side), and they are and have been interested in Jarrod for the last few years... and I doubt they would throw money at him and not play him in the seniors..
There may not be enough memory in your computer to list the number of players coming to play under Pucella.....the list is already massive!!!
Keep an eye on the "clearances" section of the SFL website
I'm tipping that the Hammers won't be in Div 3 for long!!!!
It's Hammertime![]()
Well, pardon me for getting excited about some positive changes at my footy club.....surely a healthier past time than sitting in front of a computer just potting people night after night because some of you jerks have mummy issues....House.
You must be very concerned with the 10-12 players turning up for the first night of training, especially with all the hype.
A few rumblings already between potential players NOT crossing Bluff Rd.
May not be that many clearances to keep an eye out for and the coach may also be looking at his contract.
All the best though.
Well, pardon me for getting excited about some positive changes at my footy club.....
To North of the River, thanks for your support mate, but I can assure you that the coach is not looking at his contract....in fact he was so excited about the first session he was there unbelievably early to meet some of the new boys and get amongst it.
It seems pretty clear to me that it will be much easier in the future not to bother passing any feedback into the market about the improvements in your club, better to shuttup and not have to put up with the childish crap from people who don't have the nuts to work hard for their club
House, your kidding aren't you?
Oh boo hoo, some posters are saying nasty things about my club so I'm going to go away and have a cry.
Great to see someone getting excited about their club, but you just speak utter crap.
You pumped the club up pre-2008 season stating:
So far this season you have virtually stated every player around the area are signing up and Rovers list would be decimated. Apparently 4-5 of those guys who said they would go across are now heading back to Rovers.
- How good the new coach was and how you would go in 2008
- Finished last and sacked the coach after 1 season
- How you lured Bennett back from Cheltenham
- he lasted a few games ( bullshit wears off overtime)
- How strong the club and players are.
- you came out mid season on BF having a crack at YOUR players and their lack of committment
So please, be positive but allow some posters to be sceptical about the things you state.
Remember your in 3rd Division not 1st Division - actually start acheiving SOMETHING before you have a crack at your sceptics
I also hear that Keysy have also picked up a couple from Springy Districts ?
Cassett will play back at Doveton in th MPFL[/quote]Keysie have got two from Springy Districts, also hear that B. Williams has walked out on Heatherton, Cassett has offered his services to the Tunners at $700.00 per game, and Dingley is in the mix for a power forward to be confirmed at a later date.
Was in the local paper about Cass. With quotes and all.

Here is the Keysy article....Good player Gumby but calling him a 'superstar of the SFL' is a bit over the top!

I mean things like accusing me of creating a second profile to talk up the club and stuff, just juvenile.
To the Rocket Scientist who drove past Peterson St on Monday night after work, what time did you finish at the sheltered workshop? 4:00pm or something. I was there and I counted over 30 and I would expect that the number will exceed 40 in coming weeks!!!
If you had any aggots at all you would have called in, introduced yourself and taken a good look who ever you are....

Here's me shutting up, but if you're interested, drive past Peterson St tomorrow night and see for yourself! Maybe even call in for a snag & a beer, any of you would be welcome.
i'll be happy to talk to any of you if you're still interested sometime in September(but I suspect most of you will be finished for the year by then)
Not enough people on this forum with enough nuts to put the name of their club behind their expert comments!!!!
Perhaps you should all try the mixed netball forum....
Don't quote me but i am pretty sure that he didn't even get one vote when he played Canterbury, the reason being that they made sure they shut him down and then won the games?
I think many people forget that the Hammers almost made Div 1 in 04, after two fantatsic seasons in 02,03 - the team in 03 was a corker. All clubs have their ups and downs, look at Highett for example.
I'm not a Hammer man, but seeing the president & players at the gate of the finals putting a bit of gate coin back into their club, at least shows they're having a crack. Their Colts side has already show an impact this year. I'm sure the Hammers will be back & wish them well in Div 3. Don't worry about recruiting players, saw two hammer games 09 & S.Wardell was BOG in both reserve games - why isn't he in the 1's??
could be something in thatCan anyone confirm for me that Myles Quinn has left City and will be playing for an A Grade team in the ammos?
