Thought I had better show my face at some point today.

Still stand by what I heard, I did not lie, also told everyone it was a workmate (Purple Hazey) who sent the PM to me as a joke, which worked quite well by the way!

Personally, this is an internet forum, and I really could not give a toss what anybody thinks about me on here........I mean come on really........

In any case, should I come across any other info by any means in the future, I will continue to post it should I consider it in the interest of other CFC supporters to know.

At the end of the day, what is more important?

The best interests of the supporters, or the best interests of the club?

If the club has intentionally withheld information from rival clubs (let's pretend for a minute that the rumour you made up about Murphy was actually true), why would you then see fit to broadcast it merely for the benefit of the supporters?

The supporters will be informed about such things when the club decides the time is right; ie. when the release of that information is least damaging to the Carlton Football Club.

So instead of trying to sabotage the club for the sake of some cheap point-scoring on the internet, perhaps it would be wise to use a little discretion in the future...

(Pretending again that Murphy's injury wasn't a fabrication): If Carlton doesn't want the broader footy world to know about a player's injury, why would you have any desire whatsoever to reveal it?

Rumour: Ben Cousins is completely off the rails again, this time GHB being his drug of choice as it is not tested for during drug tests. The Richmond FC are aware of his problem as was his player manager who doesn't want to be around when the shit hits the fan, hence him dropping Cousins as a client.

I wish I had something to offer, but with Murphy playing on the weekend it seems to have quashed that rumour.
I must although say that my info was from someone who would have/should have known exactly where Murphy was at, and hence my thread on, "Waite, Murphy and Austin"

I will put mine on the line though here by saying that I suspect a barrage of Ratten threads coming on soon.

Big merger in Western Australia at the end of the year. Richmond will merge with Railways FC to make a power club. Apparently the name Avon Football League was all Brett Deledio needed to convince him.

Also I don't believe I stated my thread about Walker had anything to do with an rumour I heard, I just posted a thread (which happened before the scandal at Crown Casino with Houlihan BTW) stating that in my opinion, if Walker doesn't lift his game and become more consistent, he should be traded at the end of the season (and I stand by those comments to the hilt)

As for Hampson, I just it's obvious there is no room for 4 ruckman in the one club, and either Jacobs or Hampson will probably end up being traded. and considering Hampson has higher trade value, and is from the Gold Coast originally, I don't think it's a stretch to suggest he's heading to GC17 once his contract with Carlton expires (after season 2011)

I wonder if we did opt to trade Jeff home (to the Eagles) what sort of trade value he may command.

I mean we're not going to get anything special this year with clubs getting shafted by GC draft 10.

However, I think we may see a player swap (if it were to happen). Besides, it will largely depend on how his season plays out this year.
