I dont have the thread bookmarked but I can verify this... he got howled down at first... then when it came out that Judd wanted to leave the weagles to return to Victoria, everyone was congratulating him about it :D

:D I think you guys are giving me too much credit ... It was an 'out there' idea of mine that Carlton should go after Judd (because I'd heard he was homesick) using Pratt's influence by offering him a $3-4 million VISY Contract to WCE (which in the end went to Juddy instead lol), and that we should tank the year to get sufficient draft picks to make it happen.

... I was pretty close to it after all was said and done.

(I also mentioned during August of that month on the main board that Juddy would be coming to Carlton - and I was laughed at :( )

Either your taking the piss, or whoever is spreading that Goddard rumour is full of it ...

Goddard recently signed a long-term contract extension with the Saints, I'd love to have BJ at Carlton, but he's a Saint for life now. :(
