I'd think that or Dogs pick of 21 is more likely for Dawes then pick 13.

This doesn't seem quite right!!! IMO Tippet>Reid and Collingwood would be essentially (Given West Coasts offer) be giving up pick 13, 17 & 39 for Reid... thats overs IMO

Pies have already stated this morning they'll be doing what's best for the Club, not for Wellingham.

He might want WC, but I doubt he'd knock back 450k at the Dees if he has to stay in Melbourne. If we're offering 300 over 3, that's another half million over the life of the contract. Nothing to sneeze at considering his next offer might not be as large. His asking price in three years may be 250k for a two year deal. I wouldn't be wasting 3 years at minimum wage if I was him and could get another 500k.

You might be right and he might also be able to get a move to the West written into his next contract. If that happened, I think he might be willing to take a pay cut.

Personally, I think players put less emphasis on money than what you think.....Having said that I cannot explain Chris Dawe's brain at the moment.

Reid won't be going anywhere and the tippett deal will still get done. It will involve a midfielder.

shaw is out cos he to old now but when u win a flag its the best piss up party in ur life and u want to go back to back when u play at a high level so he will end he's days at the swans, if there was a slim chance of anything it would be that ried wants to play with he's brother is only option it would be done with a first rounder or something sweet for them, but we will see what happends at end of this trade season, but what do use guys think what is sydney going to do play two ruckman in pyke, mummy, tippet and reid all in one side, to top heavey you would think speacialy with lrt in there to?

lol at Sydney if they give up Reid for Tippet. There' a very good chance Reid ends up better than Tippet at some stage in his career ( perhaps even by next year) and given they would be paying Reid about half as much as Tippet the trade would be ridiculous.

Subject to his fitness I would not hate this. At least we know Seaby can compete in the ruck contest at senior level. Right now Wood is just not an option in the first 22 in any position = no point having him on the list
