Apparently it's from Bordertown's reserves but our club is playing hardball....We won't accept 2 pumpkins and are asking for a lamb as the sealer......Honestly think we are pushing the boundaries as may be seen as being unreasonable to deal with once again during trade week....this really could backfire on us!

A Rumor doing the rounds today is a three way deal between Melbourne, Collingwood and St Kilda.

Chris Dawes, Farren Ray & pick 39 to Melbourne
Pick 20 & Pick 43 to Collingwood
Stefan Martin & Pick 45 to St.Kilda

Melbourne lose – pick 20, pick 45 and Stef Martin
Melbourne gain – Pick 39, Chris Dawes & Farren Ray

Colingwood lose – Chris Dawes & Pick 39
Collingwood gain – Pick 20 (melb) & pick 43 (St.K)

St.Kilda lose – Farren Ray & Pick 43
St.Kilda gain – Stef Martin & Pick 45

The Dawes trade has to be Dawes to Demons for pick 20 & Stef Martin......Won't be happy otherwise! I don't rate Martin highly but he can fill a role and won't be any worse then what Dawes has been. If this was to happen then happy days for my mind.

Shit I'd be happy if they rolled Cook and Gysberts in with pick 20...**** it!

Gysberts - major steal for a 2nd round pick - we have heaps of under sized tall / mid sized defenders, that in an under type of ball getter would make daisy and pendles and co that much better IMHO

We could get Gysberts but I think it would cost us more then a 2nd Rounder

Seems that Pederson to Melbourne is a done deal for a 2nd rounder via twitter. Could mean;
  • Melbourne won't chase Dawes now
  • Melbourne will take Dawes and any trade to Collingwood will include Stefan Martin
Hopefully pick 20 and option b donkey!
