If there are no takers for Rounds, is it beyond the realms of possibility that he is re-contracted? I've always thought he had something to offer- particularly as a half-forward- not as a half back.

You'd think if he definitely is on the move, we would seal a token deal for him with the Saints.
Agree, i thought he played as a damaging goal kicking half forward at The Falcons, could be wrong though.

Carlton/Coll have been locked in a meeting/discussion for the last 30 minutes (does not pertain to the Jordan Russell trade).

Where did you hear that?

Must be trying to get Warnock then?

I'd take him for pick 42. Would be furious if we used one of our first rounders on him

why furious - he was a first rd draft pick as a kid, as we all know rucks take 3-5 years to develop fully, why not let another club facilitate the maturation then pick them up as thy enter their prime?

I'd take Warnock over Wood. He is very very tall and not many guys will be able to jump over him. Skills are an issue though...but as backup I'd be happy.

Would be worth very little. He was a first round draft pick to start with, and got no where. Then Carlton offered a 2nd round pick and he has still gone no where despite showing glimpses. Now he is worth a 3rd or 4th rounder minimum as he is 3rd in line at Carlton and would only be 2nd in line at Collingwood.

UPDATE:

Collingwood and Carlton are currently in talks over Robbie Warnock. Collingwood have offered their second round selection for the ruckmen who currently is behind Kruezer and Hampson.

pick 42 would be great and would cap of a fantastic trade period!! 3 first rounders Lynch Young Russell and Warnock, i dont know how any pies supporter could be upset at this. depth Depth Depth!

(but seriously how much room do we have left in cap to fit warnock in...Im assuming he would be on $250-300 k a year??)

Now wondering where Ben Johnson is at given our drafting? Wood seems certain to be gone (thank f**k), maybe this is the salary cap relief we are searching for
