Even if Tom Boyd is half the player Carey was, he would be more valuable than Beams.
Beams is an elite midfielder but he would be easier to cover than a big, ready made key position player.

Boyd is going to be a superstar power fwd, the only mid thats untouchable is Pendles.

You have to give up something to get the number 1 pick, they are not going to give it away for a player who isnt in your top 5-6 players

True but then I am a bower bird. Love Beams, but lets be truthful, you trade him for Boyd, any day of the week. Especially if there's an inkling of him wanting out. Last I remember we didn't win the premiership with the cattle we have, so something has to change. Dont think its likely however.

Guy's and girl's I have a bad feeling that Swan wants out of Melbourne. I have heard whisper that someone from collingwood wants out of the fish bowl that's melbourne.
