And your source comes from where exactly?
Within the CFC, a family member of a player. Don't bother asking who, I'm not going to put him through that.

It'll be a rude shock to BEEG who seems to follow the mantra that no-one will leave Collingwood. But yes, in the bigger sceme of things, it's not.
Don't worry, with a forward spine of Fev/ Pedersen, you'll be fine.

I cannot believe people are still gullible in believing that Fev rubbish. He won't play AFL footy again. People need to let that hope go.
As for Cloke, quite contrasting news from Damian Barrett tonight.
As I said, very confident that Cloke is staying.

I have been for about two months now, he is to busy touching his hair and brushing it to the right side if his head. I think his form has dropped off big time since last season.Do me a favour and watch Wellingham carefully on Friday night. You will realise you are very wrong.

Any chance of filling in a brother from north of the border?
Yep, you are spot on about Fev coming to the Pies. Collingwood fans will learn to love him after a while and I certainly wont be shattard if he came to the Pies.I'm pretty confident there will be a fair few shattered Pies fans, in the coming weeks. As is the norm, we shall wait and see.
Doubt he has gone to the Westpac Centre. Media would have been all over it, I remember when Cousins came there it was back page news.So has anyone see Fev at the Lexus Center?
I don't know if it was the case with Luke Ball (all my Collingwood supporter mates and I were stoked to get him), but it certainly was the case with Leigh Brown.Yep, you are spot on about Fev coming to the Pies. I remember before Luke Ball came to Collingwood, there was a thread on him and everyone just bagged him saying he is too slow, no good and injury prone and no way would they love him at our club. Once he said he wanted to come to Collingwood everyone wanted him and were celebrating that we got him. Same will happen with Fev I rekon.
All Barrett said was there is now a performance based 5th year option* if he stays with Collingwood. Carlton have put up an un-conditional 5 year deal, on slightly better money.
*Club decides whether or not to extend in the fourth year.

Anything on the Swan interview?
As if Buckley would take Fev over a Q Lynch etc. Just defies logic and any other sense you can name.
We might get an Answer from Q Lynch Tommorow?
averages around 20 disposals a game and 0.6 goals in a team that gets a lot of the footy and kicks a lot of goals.
To me he is clearly not required, you don't need a "fast" midfield to win premierships (aka geelong/hawthorn) you simply need a consistant one that is very skilled. Wellingham is inconsistant and normally only kicks goals against bad teams (2 against port/dees, 1 against the lions/doggies/suns) the only time his impacted the scoreboard against a quality team was against hawthorn when he got 2.
He can't tag and i dont think he applies any amazing pressure... his one we can def afford to lose imo.
I think our required players are jolly cloke pendlebury swan reid brown/keefe beams. Anyone else can be traded without hurting us (assuming we get a fair trade)
Eddie will throw everything he can at travis and travis will sign with collingwood, because what eddie wants, eddie gets.Theres not a chance in hell of malthouse getting him because eddie doesnt want him to.mark my words
Eddie wanted J. Brown too. Remind me how that went?

of course they may be putting the players who in the most recent game played the best for us on the website, with no regard for contract negotiationsCloke's not on the website anymore...![]()

Well respected journalist Damian Barrett has this evening revealed that Gold Coast youngster Josh Caddy has informed the club that his preferred destination is Collingwood.
He has asked Gold Coast to organize a trade to get him to Collingwood in trade week, so that he can be with his ill father.
Caddy was taken with pick 7 overall in the 2010 draft.
It would mean that Collingwood part ways with their first round pick (no 18 at this stage) and a player.
