It'll be a rude shock to BEEG who seems to follow the mantra that no-one will leave Collingwood. But yes, in the bigger sceme of things, it's not.

Don't worry, with a forward spine of Fev/ Pedersen, you'll be fine.

All we needed to know, thanks for your time and good luck with year 10 next yr.

I cannot believe people are still gullible in believing that Fev rubbish. He won't play AFL footy again. People need to let that hope go.

As for Cloke, quite contrasting news from Damian Barrett tonight.

As I said, very confident that Cloke is staying.

I'm pretty confident there will be a fair few shattered Pies fans, in the coming weeks. As is the norm, we shall wait and see.

Do me a favour and watch Wellingham carefully on Friday night. You will realise you are very wrong.
I have been for about two months now, he is to busy touching his hair and brushing it to the right side if his head. I think his form has dropped off big time since last season.

All I am saying is if we lose him it wont affect us a lot, therefore if we need to release a player and make cap room for Clokey, I wouldst mind trading him.

I like the bloke but you can't have 22 required players, there are usually 10 untouchables and everyone else is available for the right price.

Any chance of filling in a brother from north of the border?

All Barrett said was there is now a performance based 5th year option* if he stays with Collingwood. Carlton have put up an un-conditional 5 year deal, on slightly better money.

*Club decides whether or not to extend in the fourth year.

Yep, you are spot on about Fev coming to the Pies. Collingwood fans will learn to love him after a while and I certainly wont be shattard if he came to the Pies.

I remember before Luke Ball came to Collingwood, there was a thread on him and everyone just bagged him saying he is too slow, no good and injury prone and no way would they love him at our club. Once he said he wanted to come to Collingwood everyone wanted him and were celebrating that we got him. Same will happen with Fev I rekon.

I don't know if it was the case with Luke Ball (all my Collingwood supporter mates and I were stoked to get him), but it certainly was the case with Leigh Brown.

Anything on the Swan interview?

As if Buckley would take Fev over a Q Lynch etc. Just defies logic and any other sense you can name.

When he's slotting through 6+ a game they'll all be saying they never doubted him. Lol.

We might get an Answer from Q Lynch Tommorow?

Just an example. Can still remember Bucks saying as a commentator how crap it was to have Fev cavorting with Saints players years ago after a Carlton loss. Can only imagine his opinion hasn't exactly sky-rocketed in the interim. Ridiculous.

averages around 20 disposals a game and 0.6 goals in a team that gets a lot of the footy and kicks a lot of goals.

To me he is clearly not required, you don't need a "fast" midfield to win premierships (aka geelong/hawthorn) you simply need a consistant one that is very skilled. Wellingham is inconsistant and normally only kicks goals against bad teams (2 against port/dees, 1 against the lions/doggies/suns) the only time his impacted the scoreboard against a quality team was against hawthorn when he got 2.

He can't tag and i dont think he applies any amazing pressure... his one we can def afford to lose imo.
I think our required players are jolly cloke pendlebury swan reid brown/keefe beams. Anyone else can be traded without hurting us (assuming we get a fair trade)

So you think Daisy, Heath Shaw, Ball, Blair, Sidey and Krak (amongst others) can be traded without hurting us?

Eddie will throw everything he can at travis and travis will sign with collingwood, because what eddie wants, eddie gets.Theres not a chance in hell of malthouse getting him because eddie doesnt want him to.mark my words

Eddie wanted J. Brown too. Remind me how that went?

Actually i 100% agree with this. I dont think he will be at Collingwood next year (hoping he is) but i seriously doubt it, but yes i do remember that very thread of all the "Ball haters" Facts are he along with Jolls single-handedly won us the flag in 2010. (or double-handedly) without those two we had no chance of winning the flag. Its just as plain as that.

Fev to pies would give us that extra 20-30 goals a year we are short. Even if Cloke stays i would love Fev at FF Cloke at CHF and Dawes to be Leigh Brown (the sequal) but it wont happen. Would just about put my house on it.

Cloke's not on the website anymore...
of course they may be putting the players who in the most recent game played the best for us on the website, with no regard for contract negotiations :D

Well respected journalist Damian Barrett has this evening revealed that Gold Coast youngster Josh Caddy has informed the club that his preferred destination is Collingwood.

He has asked Gold Coast to organize a trade to get him to Collingwood in trade week, so that he can be with his ill father.

Caddy was taken with pick 7 overall in the 2010 draft.

It would mean that Collingwood part ways with their first round pick (no 18 at this stage) and a player.

Don't Have link to the Facebook but this is where I got the Info From:
