Nah mate wasn't trade week radio, couldn't find it on Twitter either. We can only hope (depending on the player required to get the job done)

There was rumors in the HS about it but can't say i saw it anywhere else, my sources have him going to Essendon.

No need for him surely. Our young midfield brigade is fine.

If we're trading, make it for a KP forward, ruckman or running half back. Otherwise surely we just hit up the draft.

dont think you can deny talent like Caddys, if he wants to come to the club. I understand he isnt a FA but these are the opportunities we need to take with both hands!

Get him sure, but not at any cost, he is still unproven Richard Tambling was also a talented high draft pick.

richard tambling probably would of been a star if he had gone to collingwood or geelong imo

Caddy is an exceptional talent and can carry our inside midfield for the next 10 years at an AA level, plus his a goal kicker. Our 1st rounder and any fringe player would be a great get

Caddy, drafted at pick seven in the 2010 Draft, was ranked in the top bracket of Suns players for goals, disposals and clearances in his second year.

I think his proven himself as much as a 2nd year player possibley can in a very difficult environment at the GC.
He is basically like an inside bulkier version of beams. Send a high draft pick to collingwood and watch them become AA stars

I have been for about two months now, he is to busy touching his hair and brushing it to the right side if his head. I think his form has dropped off big time since last season.

All I am saying is if we lose him it wont affect us a lot, therefore if we need to release a player and make cap room for Clokey, I wouldst mind trading him.

I like the bloke but you can't have 22 required players, there are usually 10 untouchables and everyone else is available for the right price.

Why can't we lose S Buckley and Wood instead?

It'll be a rude shock to BEEG who seems to follow the mantra that no-one will leave Collingwood. But yes, in the bigger sceme of things, it's not.

Don't worry, with a forward spine of Fev/ Pedersen, you'll be fine.

This is the Pies board not the Main board or Hawks board i will say what i want

Thomas was going to GWS - Signed
Swan was going to GWS - Signed
Pendles was going to GWS - Signed
Reid was going to Sydney - Signed
Beams was going to GC - Signed
Dawes was going to Melbourne - Signed
Sidebottom was going to Essendon - Signed
Toovey was going to Fremantle - Signed

Pretty hard not to be confident when your a successful club and players want to stay for unders and come to the club for unders

So tell me why i should not be confident i think you would struggle to find any club who could sign these players with two new teams coming in with big cash

That time of the year where we're interested in every player available! :P
But yes! GET GILES!

So just a recap.

We have inquired and are interested in:

Cam Pederson
Jonathon Giles
Stefan Martin

Josh Caddy has nominated us as his club of choice (even though he is touring North's facilities)

Wellingham could be traded

Fevola is training at the lexus centre (and by lexus centre i mean casino and by training i mean gambling)

We have offered Cloke his fifth year and softened on the performance side of things.

Agree Love Him but there should be a Limit when it will be over expensive

Within the CFC, a family member of a player. Don't bother asking who, I'm not going to put him through that.
So the Carlton players know yet it is kept secret from the press?

Yeah right!

The players are the last people that know this stuff. Total BS rumor.

averages around 20 disposals a game and 0.6 goals in a team that gets a lot of the footy and kicks a lot of goals.

To me he is clearly not required, you don't need a "fast" midfield to win premierships (aka geelong/hawthorn) you simply need a consistant one that is very skilled. Wellingham is inconsistant and normally only kicks goals against bad teams (2 against port/dees, 1 against the lions/doggies/suns) the only time his impacted the scoreboard against a quality team was against hawthorn when he got 2.

He can't tag and i dont think he applies any amazing pressure... his one we can def afford to lose imo.
I think our required players are jolly cloke pendlebury swan reid brown/keefe beams. Anyone else can be traded without hurting us (assuming we get a fair trade)

Whilst I won't argue that in statistical terms he doesn't have the output of our A grade midfielders, he's an integral part of our best 22. A team is the sum of it's parts, and he clearly has a role to play. I think his pace is a large factor that cannot be dismissed, as teams with a lack of pace on the outside have been consistently shown up this season. Sydney and Hawthorn have been addressing this through recruiting, and Geelong have been fallible due to their lack of. He has had an inconsistent season (I thought he was workin' into some form with good intensity prior to gettin' rubbed out) but his ability to kick important goals roving packs or finding space in the forward line's something I like from our 5-6 mid. Can frustrate the **** outta me at times and does have the occasional propensity for laziness, but I believe his best is yet to come. He's still 24 with around 100 games to his name, a bit more maturity and polish and he should improve his game to the next level.

He's very required

THere is a difference between being required and being on the table, and a player being out of favour thus on the table.

Wellingham, if traded, wouldn't be let go by unless he wanted to leave or if we were receiving an upgrade.
