Ok, I will state this one more time just in case people haven't heard. Kurt Tippett was concussed 3 times in the space of 6 weeks this year, and it clearly effected him, he came back a shadow of the player he was. Now given what we know about head injuries and how worried the AFL is about them, what happens if Kurt goes down again next year? Even just once? There is no way he is worth 800k at that risk, especially not when we have Lynch, CLoke and Dawes as power forwards now anyway (and Paine as an up and comer as well).
And I'm pretty sure those lads would mind a lot if Tippett got that kind of money with us, especially when it took so long to agree to terms with Cloke, a guy who has already played 150+ games with us and probably proven more than Tippett.
