A Hawks supporter said earlier this year that Wellingham will be at the Hawks next year but didn't say anytrade.

We can't afford to make them a stronger side but I think Savage will become a better player overall in the future than Wellingham. I still wouldn't do this trade becuase all the Hawks need is a quick outside player and they will be evern harder to beat next year.

I would be happy to trade him to a club but it depends on the compensation.

This is why, typically, a list management team at a club is in charge of the playing group, and not some halfwit that tries and connects invisible dots.

I doubt this very much.

Wellingham was fantastic earlier in the season, he can play inside and out and is dynamite above his head.

He is versatile too, which is needed in our team give the strength of our midfield.

Savage has regressed since 2011 and even his 2011 form doesn't hold a candle to Wellingham.

This is a terrible trade. Savage isn't even first team at Hawthorn, he only gets a game because of injuries. If we were to trade Sharrod, who is the player from our 22 that we would most likely trade, it would have to be for a ruckman or a running back ala Leon. Until then, Sharrod will remain.

Honestly, I can't see this trade happening, it's a pointless trade. Savage is still very young and we wouldn't want to lose him as he has a lot of potential and you guys wouldn't want to lose Wellingham either for a younger less quality player (at the moment, who knows what he will become) to a rival. I see it as a sideways pointless trade to be honest.

It's a pointless thread mate.

Agree the Trade makes no Sense. If wellingham trade I say he be going him or to Melbourne to be part of a Trade to get us Martin

Wellingham would make Hawthorn stronger.

Zero chance of Collingwood trading with Hawthorn until one of us are no longer premiership contenders, which could potentially rule out the next 5 years.

It's most likely a bullshit rumour that came about when the general public became aware that Sharrod & Buddy are living together.

Hasn't Buddy and Sharrod been living together for Years?

3aw reporting that Alan Richardson will be back at Collingwood next year, head of development being the most likley role.
Now this is a rumour that I hope will come true............

He has been at so many clubs and missed out on coaching gigs, as much as we love him as a Collingwood great, is he really a good enough for a coaching role? I am not so sure but I trust Eddie, Welsh and Pert to make the right call.

He's well spoken about for the roles he's played I think? Might not cut the mustard as a senior contender but if he's a good assistant then great to hopefully get him back on board :)

May not be a great asst coach, who really knows, but he set up our youth development academy with Brad Scott. The same one that all clubs have now copied.

He's supposedly heading up the development academy. Good get.
