Well that's a real win for them and happy to see them move in the right direction finally.Melbourne will get both Dawes and Wellingham.
You dickhead.....Did you even look at what you posted!Wellingham + Dawes + Pick 18 for Pick 4 (Melbourne)
Considering you guys need to free up cap space, apparently, I'd say it would be positive both sides.
So Dawes's manager as of an hour ago hadn't met with Melbourne, now all of a sudden the rumour is Martin for Dawes? i call bullshit.. they've just put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5. Amateurs..

Line Ball between Trade Week Radio and Facebook pagesThat's a facebook rumour nothing more.
If I were to rate the accuracy of sources over the next few weeks I'd have the AFL media, followed by Bigfooty, then trade week radio and then bringing up the rear facebook pages and twitter accounts which feed off the rest.

Leon Davis has more talent in his left nutsack than Dawes has in his whole body.Going to tell that to the others who had ordinary seasons? He has every right to be angry having his name thorown around as trade bait especially after sticking by us when he could have walked at the end of last year. He signed at huge unders on top of that!
We pissed Leon off last year and it cost us dearly. Same shit happening with Dawes.
I don't see them getting both.
Dawes is seeking opportunities. So he will likely to go almost anywhere except interstate.
Wellingham was either WA or Collingwood. It's not about opportunity for him, he was testing the market for $$$. Now that the WA clubs have gone cold, sure Melbourne could come in with the $$$$ but Sharrod and his management have stated they want to remain part of some success. It would be a career step backwards for Sharrod to the Dees.
He will stay now IMO.
That is what they said on that Trade Radio....You dickhead.....Did you even look at what you posted!
Don't be fooled EVERYONE has a price
But that's incorrect! He and his management have decided to shop themselves around with permission from the club.
As for signing on for huge under's that is well and truly up for discussion considering he's on roughly 350k and played at the level of a 250k player (ie the league's average wage) throughout 2012. He's now 24 and at best from here on out will play the kind of footy he did in 2010/2011, which was barely worth 350k.
So IMO he's not being paid under's....

The comments about Dawes say a lot about how one eyed Pies fans are. I'm happy that a team is willing to trade anything for Dawes. I've said it before but KPF's that can't mark overhead are all but worthless. Dawes overhead marking has regressed every year he's been in the league. It's perhaps their primary required skill. Unless they can make up for it in other areas, such as exceptional speed/agility etc. Dawes has none of that. Take whatever the hell you can for him, because IMO his value isn't going to increase any in the coming years, if he's even still on an AFL list.
Even if we kept him, we should be doing everything in our power to find and develop a replacement.
Im just quoting what was mentioned on TWR. I forgot to reference it. My Apologies. 2-0You dickhead.....Did you even look at what you posted!

Be very disappointed if Dawesy leaves. Yeah he had a pretty poor year I would have expected him to have a big preseason and bounce back next year as a forward only.
Some of the comments on here are disgraceful but I guess Clokeys signed so its time to turn on someone else.
I agree, how many top 10 picks have the Swans or Cats had in recent years?Premiership Window = Identify Weakness & recruit to mitigate that weakness
Shit Clubs = Low draft picks, potential superstars recruit for future.....
**** Pick# 4
Nonsense.
Take on the challenge you puss cake, dont run away from it. So what if we brought in another big man, are you that mentally soft that you would walk away from your mates, the club and potential success to join Melbourne?
As i said, if he plays to the level we know he can, he stays in the team. Instead, he is taking it out on the club and 'exploring' other avenues because he was linked to deals based on a horrid season.
Yes, he signed for unders at a time when he was worth more. On his current form, he isn't worth the 'unders' contract he signed.

Yes a horid season being played out of position becuase the club failed to secure a replacement for Leigh Brown. Dawes knows he is capable of much better but the role the club forced him to play didnt allow that. Now he gets shopped around for being unable to play a role which he is not suited to? Fair? Dont think so.
he cracked it cause we brought in someone else. Shouldnt people fight for their spots instead of thinking you got a spot secured
