I hope Dawes stays, I would be pretty mad at the club if he left becuase no way do I believe he would have a problem with Lynch being there. I would choose Dawes over Lynch anyday of the week, it's just disapointing we are about to lose a player who rejected double the money he was being offered 12 months or so ago to remain with the club.
If the club wants loyalty then they have to show abit of loyalty as well, getting a 30 year old to replace a 24 year old loyal man, who I would say is not a bad footballer, is not showing loyalty. Poor form by the club.
They didnt say he is being replaced by Lynch, that he will be in the 2s every week etc.
If Bucks has said that he will need to work for his spot, and if his form is not up to it, he may not get a game, and Chris has reacted in a way that has him contemplating on making a move, then i don't know how you can questions the clubs loyalty.
They're putting the best players out there to get wins. If its Lynch, cool. If its Dawes, great. The in form guy gets the game.
If Dawes couldn't accept this, gets shitty and wants to be traded, i have to question his loyalty as well.
Instead of using this moment in his career to spur him onto bigger and better things, to become a better player, it seems like he is taking the easy way out by wanting out to play with scrubs where he is guaranteed a game.
