Heard this morning on Hot Breakfast that both Dawes AND Wellingham could be heading to Melbourne.

Not sure how that would work. Why would Wellingham leave us to go to Melbourne?

Also, Sam Reid? No way. Not happening.

Cold water has also been poured on another proposed trade that would see Collingwood premiership pair Sharrod Wellingham and Chris Dawes join Melbourne in return for pick No.4 in the NAB AFL National Draft.​

Geoff Walsh has confirmed this morning that Melbourne FC have put pick 4 on the table for Wellingham and Dawes.

Geoff Walsh has also stated that Collingwood will not pursue Caddy and has rubbished claims the pies would straight swap Quensland defender, Lachie Keefe for him.

Walsh has also said Wellingham could still be at Collingwood next year or traded elsewhere if west coast can't come up with a deal.
Reliability of this site can be questionable...

Needs quotes! I thought Melbourne couldn't get any worse. They'd have to be just not quite right in the head if they did that. But here's hoping!

melbourne are desperate to get some decent ready made players, as the club won't be able to handle another disaster of a season. This could make them desperate and work in our favor

You would obviously jump at pick 4 in a trade for both of them. But ultimately I think Wellingham will not agree to go to Melbourne. I think he is pretty happy at Collingwood and if he can't get to Perth he would prefer to stay with us. Can't see him agreeing to a trade to Melbourne.

To have a top 5 pick in this draft would be a great position to be in.

Yeah but surely they could get something better from other clubs with pick 4. I'd be livid if our club did something along those lines if we were in the same situation.
Hopefully Melbourne throws the cheque book at Wellingham to convince him to piss off so we can get pick 4!
