Seems to me any club over the last few years who have been fav to get a player before trade week starts has always gone the other way and had a club come out of nowhere to land the player in question

That's true, might as well not dwell on it, no players want to come here for some reason anyway.

Good luck to him wherever he goes i wont lose sleep over it.

Would be nice to have in our midfield but dont think we have the required trade chips your mob has.

Its a big move sunny GC to Geelong you might land him but I think people are still uncertain of if that's Cats will go up or down the ladder in 2013 most players will want to go to a contender or up and comer and I would say your in between

Question is it required for players to live in Geelong who play for Geelong how many players currently playing would live down there?

Haha no, even they refuse to live in Geelong.

Probably 70% of our players live around about Torquay, 15% live in surrounding suburbs, and the other 15% live in Geelong.

Cam Mooney used to live in the city, and then Sanctuary Lakes...so no it's not a must. Doubt Caddy knows that though..

Don't understand the Petterd hate. He is undervalued right now and wouldn't cost very much at all. He has a lot of talent and huge upside. He is not soft, he is just struggling to make an impact with a club that poorly develops it's players and somewhat ridiculously has a lot of similar players to him.

I really dont think we will be getting Quentin Lynch, but if we did and managed to hold onto Wellingham, Johnson and Goldsack then we would have an excellent shot next year, injuries permitting.

I asked a mate who knows Caddy last night, where he was going.

He wouldn't tell me, I then asked if the team he was going to wore stripes...and he gave a sheepish "maybe".
