I don't believe a second first ruck move is warranted atm, Jols is very durable and will certainly see out the year barring unforeseen injury next year.
.
I have a feeling that we'll pick up another big body (eg Martin) IF we trade Dawes because Jolly has 12-24 months left, maximum, while Lynch will only play another 2-3 years as well.
Jolls has been durable, but IMO he plays much better when he gets regular breaks to replenish during the season- reading between the lines on Eade's comments on him for 2012, it sounds like the club were rapt with his performances (rightly so too), but do not want to have to put him through such a heavy workload again.
Ideally, I think Jolls might play 15-16 H&A games next season, aiming to peak in September- meaning Lynch and (insert name here) will carry the ruck duties in those games. We could gamble with Witts/Ceglar, but only the inner-circle will know how close they really are to playing senior footy. Come 2015, we'll probably be without Jolly and Lynch.. we'll need three ruckman in the right age group, especially given Dawes willl presumably be gone too.
