A bloke in my office claims he just heard on radio something like this

Dawes & Wellingham to Melbourne for pick 4
Sam Reid (Syd) to Coll for pick 4
Pick 4 to Adel for Kurt Tippett

I would be stunned if this worked out, considering Sydney has said no premiership players will be offloaded and they signed Reid to a 5 year deal, however it is a rumour, so in here it goes. Wouldn't be too upset if it happened like this, although would be pretty crazy.

Adelaide gets younger and better... Could be premiership dynasty in 2-3 years with pick 4 and a bunch of young players still improving.

Would much prefer this one, giving up pick 4 for Reid is ridiculous, and so is it for Tippett.

Whatever picks we get, I just hope we go to the national draft and let Hine and Rendell do their thing.

Our list is still strong enough in its current state without trading players in.

a guy just called in and said we are tring to get a deal done for melb for pick 4 which we would ontrade to sydney for sam reid and then they would give that pick to adelaide. apparently this caller has made some correct call previously...not going to happen but i dnt mind wishful thinking.

Buckley was the worst pickup, watching him as a sub at HT warming up having a kick with a trainer, the trainer was hitting buckley's chest but had to chase it around when kicked to him. Would they want him back... id hope so
