Is a good size too in that tall-ish flexible flanker type role.

From what I have seen of him he is a depth player. Best comparison is maybe in the Toovey mould.

There's been no reports about it, Infact the only report I've heard is he wants to stay a hawk. Apart from that hawks

I wouldn't mind both Gysberts and Martin as part of the deal for Dawes, especially if we can get pick 20 as part of the deal. Something like Dawes + Rounds + Pick 39 for Gysberts, Martin + Pick 20.

Martin is obviously an upgrade on Wood.
I rate Gysberts midfield grunt work. Great tackler and size for a midfielder. I think we can mould him to be the tagger we need.

And if we can get Clinton Young for free, he would replace the outside speed lost by the departure of Wellingham.

If the Dylan Robertson rumours are true for pick 58, then we likely to be done trading by the end of the first week.

What has Dawes ever done? He's never kicked more than 30 goals as a key forward. There are midfielders that have kicked more goals. Dawes had a horrible year, but even his best year was average.

His best year was certainly not average.

I understand that he has become a whipping boy for most people, but were talking about a premiership forward versus an older player, whom may be more mobile, yet has barely played 50 games for one of the worst teams i've seen in a long time.

Confirmed Wellers to West Coast for pick 17. Think we have done well with that, think WC have paid overs in this deal. Hope we hold onto the pick and have 17 and 18 in the draft. But have a feeling that 18 could be on traded in the Dawes deal.

Im ok with the Roberton deal so long as he agrees to a haircut.

Heard the Wellers deal from the Ox on the way home from work today.

I hope he was wrong. He did say the Cloke deal was done in July, we all know how that went down..
