So he doesn't want to go to interstate, but local to a finals contending team. Who's left? Hawthorn, Geelong? Like they will go for him.
 
Barrett is full of crap, once journos become big and get a lot of airtime they begin to talk so much crap just to fill in air time on radio or whatever they are on. 98% of what they say is their opinion and only 2% fact.

Dawes is a very good man, I am sure he would be flattered with the interest he has from Stkilda, Melbourne, WB and Carlton. If he leaves I hope he goes to the Dogs.

Otten was a gun in his first year, but you have to seriously question his knee injury.

If he is cleared, he could be a very good get.

I am not a fan of Otten. Have watched him closely due to his value in Dream Team following the knee injury...and he is a turnover king. Poor decision maker in my opinion. It was a huge concern that following the departure of Bock and Davis, Otten could still not cement a spot in an extraodinarily young backline. He only came in at the end of the year because Shaw and Talia got injured.

I'd stay clear.

He did have a horrific knee injury. Prior to that, he looked like he was going to be a 200 game player off half back for Adelaide.

On form, he didnt deserve to get back into that Adelaide squad without some key injuries, but he still has potential.

yeah I'll probably be on the outer on this one. I reckon in his first year, he played pretty much loose and took a lot of cheap marks across half back. The forward press wasn't in vogue and he was able to float around. He was given some jobs and did well, but I haven't seen any real ability to play on a man since he returned from his knee injury.

I don't think he would have a spot with Shaw, Toovey, Harry, Goldsack, Maxwell all mid-sized defenders who can play tall or small. And I don't think he is the highly skilled distributor we need across half back either because I've seen him make some terrible errors.

If some clubs however are looking for someone who may be on the outer on wanting to come home, he would be a good get.

Not saying were interested in either, but between the two, i would prefer Otten over Roberton.

Limited game time this year but he did run 92% disposal efficiency with an average of 1.0 Clg per game......I wish the rest of our guys were as poor as Otten with ball usage!

He played 24 games in 2009 with 84% disposal efficiency but he can struggle kick wise under pressure at times.

The thing is, he may come cheap. He has a lot of attributes and once he gets his confidence back with a position to play I think he would provide great run out of defence and he does have the ability to hit targets unlike Young.

Oh yeah, forgot to say that my mate who was watching big brother with the girlfriend of the guy who was drafted right before Otten back in 2007, Brett Merrideth had an uncle who used to teach at Whitefriars College in Donvale in 2006 who caught up with Andy last week saying he was loking for a change and liked the look of the Collingwood jumper but wasn't sure how he and Dawes would get on so hadn't raised anything until it looked as if Dawes was leaving.

Apparently he hates Dylan Roberton with a passion and is even more intent in coming to the Pies just to piss him off.

I believe he also waiting for Young to make his mind up because they dont get along real well either. Such a funny game.

TD, maybe you could look into this for us!

yeah, i just heard roberton and ottens had a huge biffo in primary school trying to impress this girl called J W. The trade period plot thickens.

So basically he just goes to a club and argues with everyone like an arseh*le, I'll take Robertson thanks
 
Otten stinks. Watched him this year in the SANFL for South and struggled and only got a game with the Crows late due to injuries down back. Roberton would be a way better option then Otten but then again with Ben Jacobs wanting to come home i would be all over that 1st

No offence mate but this has to be the most complicated link to a player that I have read. Perhaps we could have a six degrees of separation contest. I am sure we can link TD to Eddie somehow.

Really.......What sets it apart from 95% of other posts in this thread or on this board actually during trade period......I'm willing to take it 1 step further and say it has as much credit-ability as 90% of media being published during trade week.
