Tom Young is a bum. Clearly the coaching stuff think the same considering Buckley played more games than Young. Young showed how ordinary he was this year....Bulldogs can have the spud.

Trading Young for a draft pick we probably won't use makes no sense unless Tom has asked to leave the club for a better opportunity at playing senior football elsewhere.

If he has asked to leave, it's strange that it's happened so late in the trade period.

Not a massive loss either way, interesting to see what draft pick the Dogs give us, anything after 48 will not be used by us.

Its a matter of respect.

Dogs use a pick they would have been happy to use in the draft anyway Whether they trade a pick or use a pick, its the same thing. Collingwood finds a job for a player they were going to delist anyway. Young gets to his club of choice and doesnt have to go through the lottery of the ND. Everybodys happy.

It's just like the Ben Davies trade we did with North.

I'm not sure we are even interested in him to be honest. Just pointing out a factual error in your post. Carlton cant stop Russell from being delisted. They cant force him to sign a contract.
