The delisted free agency period is nothing like the normal free agency period. This one isn't as big as there are no big names. Nothing is expected to happen. It's like supper after dessert, it's a little afterthought.

im very very suprised, but a friend of mine was at hospital in kew and saw nick Maxwell, apparently had a finger reconstruction today. He was seen, and it was overheard from medical staff he just had a baby and was having a finger reconstruction.

If true it could mean he misses Utah / a chunk of preseason (can still do running, but no weights).

She isn't a football supporter, but overheard people talking about a footballer and when i showed her a picture of maxwell said yeah it was him.

A couple of weeks after relatively major surgery. Most of it is to do with air or gas build up inside.
Finger surgery would be a few days I'd say.

its a fair point. We've all been a bit distracted by the draft and forget that we still haven't filled our last list spot based on the assumption that we are only using 4 picks in the draft.

Perhaps we will use our late late pick....however that seems odd considering we gave up our 2 picks in the 40's to get 39.

PSD looking most likely now or we just get the best kid who failed to get drafted.

Yeah, I mean, a complete 'smokie' at pick 82 seems unlikely these days with all the scouting and recruiting teams do, but who knows? Maybe there's still a Hine special coming.

I guess the other likelihood is a ruck option somewhere along the continuum from a younger prospect to a mid-age one like Currie to a Mark Seaby type. [Or maybe a combination of the two, or something completely different to either ].
