Lol there is no chance of that. Like absolutely no chance. Best ruckman in the draft since Naitanui. I'd love to hold out hope, but anything short or a career shortening injury in the next 24 hours will see him taken well inside the top 10, and I still believe in the top 3.

Saw that. As much as I'd love to believe it and really I would, I just can't see it happening. The fact that Twomey I believe is a Pies fan doesn't help it.

If it happens it will be the greatest draft coup in history, bar none. If we had Pick 1 I'd be wanting to take him. To get him this late in the draft is beyond amazing. I've watched a fair bit of him this season and he is just wow.

I'd love to see it happening, but not getting my hopes up to just be disappointed.

If it happens I'll be shouting from the roof tops, I just can't see it eventuating

That's pretty ludicrous. I'm not a big fan of taking rucks in the top 10, but 19 or so is highly acceptable.

Most Under 18s rucks are guys who are bean poles or just shown talent at junior level because they are tall. Grundy is a man child, like a ruck version of Darling and could play straight away physically if required. That's the difference, you're not waiting around for him to develop.

He is shorter than keefe but the same weight... what a unit.

Looks pretty muscular to me. He's no Witts in terms of size, but Witts has been in our gym for that long he has turned into a monster. Could easily bulk up a bit more, but a 100kg ruck compared to a 84kg bean pole are worth their weight in gold (pun not initially intended )

Well to be fair we picked up our two premiership key defenders so you can't be too disappointed surely?

I'm getting excited with the prospect of Grundy making it to us but hey, Ben Reid and Nathan Brown were inspired choices that have set our backline for the good part of a decade.
