Anybody see the opening of the new stadium last night at AAMI park?? Gee it looked good. :thumbsu:

Bad news on Cameron Smith though out for a month with an arm injury i guess its lucky the storm are not playing for points this year!!
 
Hope so Thy! It takes the edge off watching them when they play their guts out and cant take the points. Not that i am a massive NRL fan but i do like watching the Storm though.

Agree, Chis. Has to be affecting attendances at all games they play and they barely get a cat and a dog there now.

Kudos to the Storm though they are showing massive amounts of pride and courage to be playing the way they are after all the controversy. So much for other teams thinking they have an easy win when they take the Storm on after talks of not playing etc. I seriously hope they can dent some other teams chances of making it late in the season.

Back on topic while we are talking shit like the OP was, this new smoke tax is killing me!! Time to give up the old Winny Blues i think. :thumbsu:

Quiet day today for me i think before we have the annual mothers day lunch and family catchup tomorrow!! Shit that reminds me i have to help my daughter wrap up some pressies as well for the better half!! So hard telling a 5yo not to tell mummy what her present is!!!

Brighton is my local haunt as I live in the area.

Hampton, Sandringham, Black Rock & Beaumaris also have some fantastic places as well. Great coffee lounges & eateries.

Then after Brighton I may head off to Chadstone.

Long weekend waiting around for Monday night ;)

Lol! That wont work she loves Vegies which i suppose is a good thing and cant use them for punishment!!

The only thing that may work is that i tell her that she cant watch the Blues on the telly anymore or go to games!! Every time another team is playing on the telly like last night i get the " When are the Blues coming on daddy"!!!

Gotta love em!!! :D
