Greg Hutchinson is now the front runner at
StKilda and the pies are having a nibble at Stafford from Sydney...no details of offers.
Mal Michael is being used as trade bait because Buckley aint that pleased about his mate Paul Williams being served up..Malthouse and Buckley dont agree on Williams future..thats a rumour from a club function..not fact at this stage so dont quote me on that one.

Other than guys that are known about chances are that no more big name players will come on the market we would have heard by now.

The only trades that are likely to happen now are for marginal players, that have secured a spot in their current side.

Yes, I doubt many *big* names will be traded, but with lists to be cut back to 38 next year, there will probably be quite a few more 'medium names' available in the pre-season draft than there has in past years. Clubs looking for a bit of experience will become obvious if they pass on one or two rounds of the October draft...
