I continue to hear rumblings about in-fighting at Glenorchy. A few wins on the trot could be hiding the fact that there are a number of players who are not happy with the current coach and there is extreme pressure on the board to do something very shortly or there could be a mass exodus of players to other clubs. I have heard that a number of clubs have contacted certain players in regards to their immediate future.

I will keep the players quiet JS but considering Lauderdale you would think would have 95% of their salary cap free, they surely will make a play at some of the bigger disgruntled Glenorchy players, as would other clubs.

That's one I heard, in fact, it was said to me almost word for word perfectly as you've stated above.

I heard something about my own club the other day. I'm going to be doing some checking before I say anymore on it, suffice to say that, if what this person told me the other day is true then I will be finished with football for good this time if it eventuates.

On this one, yes I would like to know just what is actually going on up there.
Getting a straight answer out of the club is not that easy as we've seen in the past. So I'll be doing my own digging instead.
There's a strange atmosphere around that club this season and a lot of people seemed to have walked away again, I just hope us longterm supporters aren't about to be shat on again like we were by the same lot in 2004...

I actually went and watched the Lauderdale games on Saturday. All 3 of their sides were a bit shit. Decent brawl in the underage game though:thumbsu:
 
I see in todays "Examiner" that an Incident Involving the Clarence players on May 8th at the Lloyd Hotel in Launceston is still being Investigated by AFL Tasmania. Lets hope it not being headed by ther own "Inspector Clouseau"

Anyone have any info on what allegedly happened at the Lloyd Hotel?

I have it on good authority from a very reliable source that AFL Tasmania are about to launch an investigation in regards to salary cap issues on 3 southern clubs. He wouldn't mention the name of the clubs but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know the 3 clubs under the microscope. Not sure if they have proof of salary cap cheating or just looking into it after the Melbourne Storm controversy. Could be some very nervous clubs out there.

I don't like to reveal my sources mate but they are involved heavily in the TSL.

Just on another matter the Lauderale under 16 coach Coppo or Coplo or Copper or something along those lines has been approached by the Greater Western Sydney side and offered a position as a talent scout to identify local talent. He has done a remarkable job this year considering the Under 18s coach Moose poaches quite a few players each week from his formidable side.
 
You seem to know a bit about Moose from what I've seen of your posting, Benny. Any chances of him returning to senior coaching at some stage? Would be good to see.

Actually i wouldn't know him if i ran into him mate, but i would think if he was offered a lucrative senior coaching position say at DOSA or Mount Pleasant he would give it serious consideration.

Fair enough mate. He had some decent success down at Shark Park. Would think he'd be a chance to coach a TSL senior team at some stage down the track

Actually JS#35, incidentally your not Jackson Samanotvic who wore 35 for Albury/Wodonga in the late 90s?. Anyway back on topic i heard a whisper that 2 Umpires have been betting quite heavily on matches they have been officiating. Now not sure if this is true but in some cases you would like to think it was true, would explain some of the worst decisions i have seen in my time in football.

What gives with AFLTas making a big fuss about investigating the Lillydale brawl on the weekend, but not showing any interest in the Clarence pub brawl in Launny? Whats the difference? Both incidences are not a good look for footy. Reading the Sunday Muckery it seemed that the Roo officials have it all nicely in hand. Sounds a bit like the 'Boon' broom has been applied (quietly swept under the carpet;))
