Not at all, they said when Dutts retired they would struggle, budgee was just the cherry on top and played the hit up forward role perfectly as he did in the finals last year when needed, the ball movement and delivery to the forwards has been A1 this year and that shouldn't change at all, will just be someone else on the end of it. Still budgee provides a presence and an amount of respect from oppostion that his replacement might not have or get straight away.
A sad & sudden end to a pretty good career. I must say though, how come he was allowed to play so soon after major neck surgery? It could have crippled him. I hope his injury settles down & doesn't give him any permanent problems. It must have scared his parents & family. I know I got a bit of a shock when I heard. Anyway we can only wish him the best.
