The draw certainly is tough but what the media are obviously forgetting is that this is a team that has lost all 6 games by margin less than 18 points and 4 have been less than 8 points. This side will give it all and don't be surprised if we go on a run the next 5 and then drop the Paps game. Reckon 15-7 is on which should could secure 2 spot given:-

West Coast (11-5-1) - if drop Adelaide game plus either of Saints or Geelong (both away) and potentially Fremantle. Likely finish
14-7-1.

Sydney (12-5) - probably drop Adelaide and Brisbane plus potentially Collingwood. Likely finish 15-7 or 14-8 (Adelaide will have better percentage).

Brisbane (10-6-1) - reckon will only drop Collingwood if any. This team has champion still written over it. Likely finish 14-7-1.

Collingwood (11-6) - probably drop Essendon last game and possibly Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney. Likely finish 13-9 or 14-8.

The rest can please themselves.

So there you have it.

My thoughts on this are very much in line to what Jars predicts,

Confident of wins against the Swans & Roos,

At least a 50/50 chance against the Eagles & Paps,

That leaves the Collingwood game which will be bloody hard to win for all the reasons stated by previous posters, "but" how many times before have we overcome the near improbable in our short history & if we can have close to our best side on the oval we can beat any club, anywhere & under any circumstances that are likely to be thrown at us,

4 out 5 with a good chance to make it 5 out 5.

Well it my birthday the night of the Collingwood match.
I dont want a new car
I dont want a swag of money
I dont want any cards
I dont want any cake
Just give me a 1 point win over Collingwood and an uninjured team of players to do it again the following week.;)

I think we will win all five games and finish second

Brisbane will finish fourth and beat port in the first week of the finals at footy park

This will give us a hom prelim final after we win. No team can beat us in a home prelim final, even the scum.

We will then smash brisbane in the grand final.

You read it first here.

From your mouth (or hands as the case may be :p ) to God's ears ;)

Let's hope you are right but I'm a little afraid it sounds a little like wishful thinking, a little hard to win all of the next 5 games but NOT impossible!

A real test for the AFC,the last rounds are really going to show how far we have come this season,it is also going to show how much we want to win the premiership, there has been no 'real' standout team this year, no club is going into the finals as 'redhot' favourities to win the flag........if our boys want it,then it's theirs to win it's upto them.

I like others will pencil in wins against Sydney and Kangaroos;)

The other three games very tough:( especially the W/Coast Collingwood trips if we win both ohhhhhhhhhhh my god I will go ballistic:D :D how good would we be then???????? glad we have our last two games in Adelaide;)

Im looking forward to the Collingwood game alot, looks already like it will be a sellout as the cheer squad have been told we will have ticket allocation for this game(which only happens if it is going to be sold out) this is a huge game I hate those Collingwood pricks with a passion, to beat them on the their turf will be a dream:D :D stick it right up Eddie McChins arse:D

It looks tuff for the AFC, but if the boys want it badly enough then it is theirs for the taking:D :D

How tuff is the AFC????? We will know the answer by the conculsion of round 22;)

As in the Wizard Cup, Collingwood's form is looking better than it actually is. They are playing the bottom teams whereas we are playing teams in the eight. I think we can beat Collingwood by 5 goals at our favourite Melbourne Stadium, Telstra Dome

Actually the last time the crows beat a team in the eight was in round 6 against the 'roos. So I wouldn't be saying Collingwood is only looking good due to playing low ranked teams ;)

We have beaten four of the seven sides in the eight this year.

Lets ask the same question in five weeks.

Dont be selective.

Now whos being selective ;)

It is correct you haven't had much oppurtunity to improve your top 8 record recently. However that was my entire point. Correcting the blatantly incorrect ;)

Bloody lawyers.

Andrew Demetriou - he did the draw

I am saying have a look after 22 games

We only play 22 games agaisnt the opponents the Fish and Chip shop boy from Cyprus selected (or that Eddie McGuire selected if you believe some people about his influcence)

Bloody......................what are you again???????

Hey, I take exception to the mention of Cyprus, what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? As in I don't think where his parents come from has any relevance to football, I am Cypriot too and I found that comment offensive. :(
Also, the mention of the fish and chip shop was unnecessary, it sounded very derogatory and seemed to take a swipe at his ethnicity and lower socio-economic background. Now if you'd mention the fact that he is Victorian or bias towards the Crows, now I feel that would have been more relevant ....
