Running For The Board; I REALLY need your help

To further put a law degree in context, Nicole Cornes obtained a law degree as a mature age student. It's not rocket surgery.

Jonas having both a law degree and an MBA just shows that he had time, money and a reasonable amount of perseverance.

MBA's used to mean something when you HAD to have industry experience to get one. now they are just the same as any other masters.

A law degree is no more difficult than any other, epecially with technology making research etc. so much easier. it's just one of the oldest types you can get, so carries prestige with that.

Ben from Big Brother 2003 — the law student who regularly got into arguments with pre-fame Chrissy Swan — is currently representing the surviving Bondi shooter.

I look forward to one day retaining the services of King’s Counsel Ryan Fitzgerald, is the point I’m making.

Oh, and Nonas to Jonas

My experience of working with MBAs is that it stands for Mediocre But Ambitious. People who believe that having an MBA makes up for a lack of experience and knowledge.

I think I've told this story before, but the 'office services' guy in a Public Service department I used to work at, who looked after the stationery supplies and cleaning contracts, had MBA after his name in his email sig block. Well, for a short time, anyway.

...
An MBA is something that can be purchased which means it has little meaning. Twenty five years ago I worked with a guy who paid $25K for an MBA from Bond University. Didn't make him any smarter or more knowledgeable.

When students are getting MBA’s before even getting a job. It’s silly.

I may be wrong, but you don't hear of a diploma or bachelor of business administration, it's like the MBA is the qual you get for doing a business admin course.

They all do BBA's now. Yup, its called that.

Ok, but if an MBA is no longer seen as the be all and end all I doubt too many would boast about a BBA on their LinkedIn profiles.

Note: as I'm ineligible to vote I haven't scanned the CVs of John Thomas's 9 rivals for the board vacancy.

Jonas gets a free ride

It's great to see that Tom Jonas is letting the media, past players and some inside the club do all his work for him to get nominated on the board by the PAFC members.

Can any one tell me if Jonas has been on any PAFC forums, PAFC Facebook pages or other social media site to do with the PAFC to add or promote himself to be on the board?

Does anyone know if he's talked to members, answered any questions by members or actually gone out or his way to do the work on his own?

The other 9 candidates (you know who you are) have done their homework and let members know what they stand for and what they'll do for the members if he or she gets elected to the board at our club. That's what it's all about.

Maybe i'm being a bit hard on Tom Jonas, but we have to ask the hard questions, which from what i've seen, has been non-existent on his side.

I love my club and i just want to see some balance with all the candidates when going for this position.

Are you going to the AGM regardless of the result?
We all should, but remember when the regime tried to screen people who were tredrea supporters from going to the AGM?

****ing hell I get angrier and angrier at the thought Jonas is getting parachuted in at such a critical time for the club.

It will be my first time to an AGM, so curious to know what intelligent questions will get thrown at Koch so he can duck and dive from answering.

It might be worth someone compiling a list of important questions to be asked in a well worded manner with references so we can get more in.

It also takes people wiling to challenge answers if they are incomplete or less than truthful.

I.e. Koch stating at last years AGM when questioned that Brisbanes was not a majority member elected board.

Don't forget to vote!

If you are still not sure and have any questions for me about my campaign then feel free to post below or message me.

Koch brooks no rebuttal even when he answers incorrectly, be it deliberately untruthfully or because he doesn't know.

Signed up for the Digital Membership in my wife's name last year for the Kayo voucher.

Several reminders later she's done it, so another vote your way
