Premieres tonight. I for one am looking forward to it.

It will be interesting to see how Callan Mulvey goes in a "good guy" role after he was very impressive as Johnny Cooper and Mark Moran in recent times. :thumbsu:

Utter crap on every level.

Shit writing, shit directing, shit photography, shit characterisation, shit acting.

Rather embarrassing for a local production IMO.

I'm dizzy after all the camera movement in the episode. What the hell was the bit with the guy running around with a machete ?

Thought it was a good first ep, will be watching the rest of the season for sure, love seeing the great sights of Melbourne too.

I was most perplexed at why a bloke living on The Strand in Williamstown decided to go to Kew to drive off a cliff, when he could have just driven off the boat ramp at the end of the street?

My guess is he is a Pies supporter and wanted to see Vic Park one last time!

One of the highlights was when an officer was asked "What do you think?" and she's taken a while and said "I'm not paid enough to think!".

It is profound, but I can't help but feel that if I wanted to hear people whinge about being underpaid, I would just go into my office.

Also, why does this task-force designed to deal with the major crime issues go to verbal domestics? Presumably the rest of the coppers check tickets on trains now!

Indeed, their role actually got questioned by themselves when asked by the lamest hard arse bitch ever "Why wasn't there a winch on the 4wd?". The copper goes "What do I look like...Rescue??". Exactly what we're all thinking at home!

To be fair, the CSI's and Law & Order Criminal Intent get away with this all the time, but at least they provide something plot wise (albeit to MacGuyver levels of unbelievability in CSI).

Thought the same thing about the domestic..sending in a swat team for an argument seemed a little excessive! And yeah McClements character is pretty lame..

Dramatic licence though..for eg it rarely rains in LV yet in CSI it rains all the time.

Good show, will watch again. Plot needs a bit off work done on it, but will keep people watching including myself for the rest of the season.

Enjoyed the first scene alot!:thumbsu:

your a happy chappy aren't you, did you watch Insight tonight?? it was about YOU:thumbsd:

geez cos the dogs have won so many flags
mr negative.

I watched Rush again and obviously my comments were intemperate and I unreservedly apologise to everyone here.

It's great television drama.

It had snappy dialogue and really innovative plot lines - who would have expected a rebellious team member or friction between a new female boss and her male #2?

Ripping stuff and I'll be watching it next week. Top stuff.

You're as condescending and pretentious as you are bitter and boring.

The milf from WaterRats (I think) pretty much ruined it.

Annoying, overbearing and petty bitch in a position of power? Awesome.

While it didn't ruin it for me her character was way over the top. She was pretty much a hard arse in WR as well but not this bad.

Must admit, I didn't have to watch more than a commercial to gather any of this.

From what I can recall, Sea Patrol went down a similar path.
