Lets hope they get some decent coaches over there sooner rather than later.

The bloke who runs RRL, it's a pity he has all that money and doesn't know how to spend it on the footy properly, there's plenty of Decent ex Aussie Kiwi and SL coaches sitting around doing nothing.

I'm sure if he paid some money, he could get a few over there to show them how it's done.

It would be worth more in the long run than where it's at now.

They could really shock some people in the CC and actually win a few games.

That alone in money would be worth it.

Then there are refs like old Billy and co, why not offer them money to ref over there, it would help the game in every aspect.

I know the AMNRL has QLD Cup refs doing some games, why haven't the Russians ever tried the same?

Out of all the Nations that have played in a RLWC, Russia is the most disappointing in that they don't seem to move forward, yet they don't seem to move back either.

Yet they have Coke and Maccas and all sorts of sponsors

You do realise the thing that holds AR back from spreading has a lot to do with the name, Australian Rules football. Us Aussies are not very liked around the world from what i hear.
LOL. who told you that? a kiwi?
aussies are adored around the world, i got many-a free beer shouted to me in the european countries purely based on the fact that i'm an aussie.
the two big hurdles that i see standing in the way of aussie rules football going international are:

- it can't be played on a soccer/rugby field, it needs it own unique field and goal posts.
- the rules are difficult for a new fan to get his head around, especially people who are used to simple games like soccer and basketball.

Thanks to LeagueX111,

The finale of the goblet of Russia, which is outlined on 5 September, completely can pass in Kazan. Problem with the field here only appears. Conducting finale on the central stadium would be the most convenient version. In the drawing of honorable trophy in the past year in Luzhnikakh "arrow" although it yielded to Moscow "locomotive" - 22:30, produced very pleasant impression. Kazan' fans could control the events of finale along the channel "sport". In yr the young people of "arrow" acquired big enough play experience, and present finale can become more interestingly. But the viewers of channel "sport" again can see final duel on the screens of their television sets. Aleksandr Medvedev.

Cup final is on TV.:thumbsu:

Regbi. At the representative international tournament in London on regbi-9 composite Tatarstana (read - Kazan' "arrow") yielded in the finale to the mistress of competitions - team England. At the stage of group tournament our compatriots occupied the first place, after beating the composite of Wales, Ireland and the oceanias. In chetvert'finale there was "bit" team REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA - 20:4, while in the semi-final for our command it was necessary to play from team Russia. This was, perhaps, the most interesting duel of the tournament, in which composite Tatarstana took precedence - 10:6. Directly on the motion of matches the trainers of the club commands of England and France made proposals to conclude contracts seven to players of composite Tatarstana.

Wow, 7 players from the Tatarstan teams being scouted, excellent news.:thumbsu:

Lots of news to be found out there, anyone who likes to look around for different stuff on Rugby League, this is a good start.

And remember, in a lot of countries, it's not called Rugby League, try things like League, 13, treiziste, Regbi and Rugby.

You'll be surprised at what you can find.
