Was just reading something at www.wrestleline.com and it made me wonder...
Could Vince Russo have been working for the WWF all this time?

Has Russo purposely tried to destroy WCW for the benefit of Vince McMahon and the WWF?

I reckon it's too far fetched to believe, but it makes you think.....He did make David Arquette Heavyweight Champion of the World :rolleyes:

Vince O'Mac is in some peoples eyes, EVVVIILL but there is no way he would do that

If you were in competition as fierce as McMahon and WCW were in he'd do almost anything. Remember the WCW invasion angle by DX? All to edge in front in the ratings and to make WCW look shite.

I still think it's really far off but you never know with McMahon and wrestling...

Thanks for highlighting this site. An interesting read. I wonder if anyone knows who the 30 WCW wrestlers that have signed contracts with WWF are (Please Please not Rick Flair !). I also wonder if Goldberg is genuine in joining the Hogan company or merely holding out for more money from WWF.
Interesting times ahead.
PS - I believe that WCW failed because it produced an inferior product to WWF. Just look what WWF did with the likes of HHH, Austin, Foley, Benoit, Jericho....and the list goes on.
 
PS - I overlooked that WCW didn't see the potential in Chyna and let her go ! While their pay-for-views still had the likes of Luger, Hogan, Macho, DDP and other relics ??

Go to www.1wrestling.com you'll find all the latest stuff there about the contracts and who's going and who's not. www.wrestleline.com is also good.

Goldberg is just holding out for the cash. There was an interesting I/view on Wrestleline with Nash and his views on WCW and the WWF. He's still got another yr on his contract with WCW which is bringing in major $$$ so his reasoning is why stress yourself out travelling and putting on shows with the WWF for so much money when you can sit on the couch at home drinkin beer for more...so I guess u won't be seeing Kev for at least another year...

Agree that the X-7 match was poor but I believe she has added another dimension to wrestling. However not sure if she has done the right thing with the Playboy shoot ?
