not to mention the team who is going to win the premiership next year! ;) carn the eagles!! if bain gets drafted over to perth, he won't get a game i dont think. eventhough the open spaces of subiaco will suit his style of play, where is he gonna fit in the line up? he'd be better of going to collingwood or a hawthorn where he will get oppurtunities to play in the types of positions that he plays in. shoud go second round. thought he spoke pretty well last night in the documentry. your thoughts?

footy's about getting the ball and doing something with it. Speaking well doesn't help u get it. Matty Little a much better prospect and he appears will not go untill the 3rd round, so I wouldn't think bain will go before that.

He was asked some pretty soft questions. Pretty standard answers.

matt little is an interesting one! ive seen him play full forward a number off times and im not doubting his ability there. however, it isnt the postition he will play in AFL! i saw him play a game on the wing once and he looks very lost and didnt know what to do with it when he got it. however, you may be right mate!

Nathan Burke said he was an outside player which might have put his value down a little.

yeh he is more of an outside player, he has the skills but will go late in the draft

Know him personally, and has other interests off the field(Work related).

But very soft but a very handy wingman.

I dont why everybody is critical of outside players.

Who else is going to carry the ball thru the lines.

AFL footy is a lot about making space and running the football. Outside players are vital to any successful team. What would everybody prefer a team of Sam Mitchells and Scotty Wests?

I agree in many possible ways. I played junior footy with ryan out at bulleen temp and hes an exceptional talent. I think he will be a handy acquisition to any club and my mail is he'll be down at Magpie land in 2005.

ur on drugs, if u think bain is an exceptional talent. Handy yes, exceptional NO. What r u going to call the 30 or 40 guys who get drafted before him, if he's exceptional. they must be Judd-type.

Chris knight (eastern) is proably just as exceptional as bain but no one is talking about him being drafted 2nd or 3rd round.

Handled himself very well in his interview, wouldn't say no if he was drafted to Moorabbin.
May not get a game right away, but could be a useful depth talent for any top side in the next year or two and then see how he matures after that.
