Love how even the flog "journalists" and "commentators" are talking up "taking out" Crowley. It plays right into Freo's hands :D - all Hawks players concentrating on Crowley whilst we run away with the game.

As if Crowley hasn't been copping hits behind play ALL year.

PS: If the hawks do decide to go the biff they just might find that Freo ARE bigger and stronger across the list and with a few larger players being managed to only play the last half of the season anyway ;)

From your last two posts I can safely say the only times you've probably ever watched Freo are when they've played your side. Clarke is a developing ruckman who has made exceptional progress in the second half of the year and is an excellent foil to Sandi. I would take him ahead of any ruckman at Hawthorn.

In regards to Dawson, well I can't be bothered since the overwhelming perception from opposition fans is the same, it's still funny though that the average BF mug reckons they're a better coach than Ross Lyon though.

Also, Clarke didn't even play against Hawthorn early this year. I think the last time this idiot would've watched Clarke play was in Round 8 2012 o_O

anyone remember yeates coming off the line and collecting brereton this si what id do with crowley . who ever he gets the instruction would be lead him into the path of a kamikazi. same goes for ballantyne and a few other mouth pieces. lets see how brave they are when the opponent isnt worried about tribunal outcomes.

And give away a free kick, possibly a goal. Nice coaching!!

Freo have already won the game if Hawks take that approach.

As for Balla - Scarlett did his best, gave Balla a goal and didn't even leave a bruise

The umpires will be right onto Crowley and Ballantine and their underhanded tactics with all the negative publicity they have received this week.A couple of frees early on should sort these to snipers out.

If the Hawks are at the top of their game and dont get sucked in by Freo they can win easily.

I swear supporters these days are a bunch of hysterical women, snipers indeed

Has a player this average ever dominated so much discussion?

I mean he's alright and he plays his role very well, but boy oh boy wowee he takes up some real estate in people's heads.

I really don't get it either, it's like we've entered a parallel universe this week where nobody has ever heard of a run with player.

Actually, it has been reported otherwise.

He is the best run-with player in the game currently no question, he has reinvented himself from a few years ago when he was almost finished with AFL. Can't he get some credit for that? Are we naive enough to say to ourselves that no sledging happens in cricket, or footy players don't try to gain a psychological edge over their opposition by doing or saying things to them...
He does things sometimes behind play that I don't like, but I guess that makes other clubs justified in doing the same thing! Football is a mental contest at much as is physical and doubt can cripple the best of players.
