Ha! People have short memories. Go back and watch some of Ling's "fair" tagging. The man attached himself to his opponent like a saprophytic fungus on a fallen log.
Ling used to face away from the ball and wrap his arms around his opponent to stop him running so don't give me that crap about him being a fair player. How he got away with it is beyond me, I would have umpired him out of the game.I think you are blinkered by his nice guy image that is being presented at them moment. He was worse than Crowley ever was!

I hope we go the knuckle on the pinhead.
We are all stars!Star
I must have missed the joke.
What's funny about that?
Dont ruin a funny story !Because I saw the game last night, saw Jack drop the mark, and realised what Crowley was saying.
Watched it again this afternoon and it all still fitted together.
Pretty sure I'm right. Wasn't calling Jack a hamster. Was telling him he ducked his head.
it was more a chuckle..amusing myself
Or maybe some freo player should just smash mitchell, or maybe just a big all in brawl, and last man standing can play the footy on his own!a Hawk should smash the living #### out him the first opportunity they get..and keep on smashing him. anything to get him away from Mitchell ..even if its a few mtres...shepherd and smash Crowley and Sam is free to do his thing.

What I find weird is that people think a tagger should be flattened. If that's the aim of the game then just have Aaron Sandilands run through Mitchell. Problem solved.
I mean, if flattening people off the ball is the way to do things, surely those evil Freo thugs could just do some flattening themselves. There's very little of Mitchell, some Matthew Lloyd style Velvet Sledgehammer manoeuvres would probably be enough.
I expect Freo to play clean, though.

Ok cheers for clearing that up hahaMcManus2Waterhouse said: ↑
best tagger in the game if u ask meOMG you're clueless.
By your comment I presumed that you didn't agree with the post you were replying to, hence my question.
Mzungu has form in breaking nimble short people bones, won't even see him coming. He wouldn't be able to catch him off guard. Pretty easy to see a 7ft giant come at you.
Mitchell can dodge like a hare. Sandi would be struggling to hit the mark..
Im serious. Hawthorn can not afford to let Crowley harass Mitchell every minute of the match.
Well place shepherds- hits to the body without hitting his ugly head- should be designed to cause as much damage as possible. Charging, ramming, targeting..call it want you want. It's worth getting reported for even. Just hit him hard.
Or do nothing and just have Mitchell get 17 disposals instead of 34..
I like him, and think it's good that he and ballantyne are getting a bit of notoriety. Good to have characters in the game who don't mind pushing the boundaries a little bit.
Looking forward to Saturday, hopefully players from both teams can get stuck right in.
