Have to be careful here - if players take out Crowley illegally, the obvious reprisal is for Ross Lyon to put the hit out on Mitchell.

Would be M.A.D. in a football context. Better to let Mitchell fight the tag, as he's pretty good at it.

as in his usual performance, I wasn't insinuating anything.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if Mitchell is tagged he'll drop out to Half back for a period of time. Whilst that won;t exactly hurt Crowley in that he is a reasonable kick for goal, it means he probably has to have a slightly more offensive mindset and therefore possibly allow Mitchell some freedom.

I thought Crowley was outstanding on Saturday night and I don't subscribe to the general view of him as a sniper or someone who plays outside the rules. Excellent defensive footballer. Well done, Freo, take them to the fckng cleaners on Saturday.
 
Very unlikely Crowley will go to Mitchell, odds are that he will go to Smith or Burgoyne and maybe get switched onto Mitchell if he is dominating.
