i'd put him in the middle. his set shot kicking is better than average and he can roost it from outside 50. he certainly doesn't turn it over much. He's in the lower half of the league, put it that way.
Who do you think he will get this week - The obvious choice in Mitchell or someone else that can kill you with outside run like a Smith or Birchall? What about Hodge - Will someone go to him as well?

It wouldn't happen first of all, secondly of course, because you can't NOT accept it.So let's say.. Bastinac got given the role as tagger next year and kept all the competitions best quiet whilst not getting much of the ball himself, North made the GF (heaven forbid) and was given the norm smith for keeping Mitchell or someone quiet and getting a few touches too, then you wouldn't accept that? Silly!
I actually think Crowley will go to Lewis or Snith & DeBoer will go to Mitchell. Bit of a curve ball. Mitchell is too obvious now.
Yep, good call.Mitchell. Suban or Mayne will get Birchall surely.
Will be fascinating to see just how physical it gets when they try and protect the Hawk player being tagged by Crowley.I'm a Crowley fan. Teams need to work out how to stop him from stopping there best players.
Just out of interest were you impressed when Brady Rawlings thrashed Stephen Hill a couple of years ago? Kept Hill out of the game and got about 30 touches. I remember the media made a lot of it at the time. Like a 30 year old veteran schooling a skinny 19 year old was a big feat by Brady. It would be an absolute shambles if they gave it to a bloke whose main objective is to stop someone from playing well, instead of playing well himself.
No doubt he is a very important player but the amount the media and BigFooty have been focusing on him this week is quite ridiculous.
Well Ryan Crowley has certainly never done this but YES, when Rawlings job was to shut down Hill, and he had 39 possies himself to Hills 7 possessions, now that is SUPER impressive, all without having to be a macho man as well...Just out of interest were you impressed when Brady Rawlings thrashed Stephen Hill a couple of years ago? Just wondering what has changed in the last couple of years. The same Vic media that was all in a lovefest for Brady is now treating Crowley like the anti-christ.
Steven Silvagni was shit too. Never went for the ball, always more concerned with stopping his opponent.

DeBoerMitchell. Suban or Mayne will get Birchall surely.
Crowley is a thug who doesn't play within the rules, but he isn't going away anytime soon.
Considering he is a limited athlete, players should be looking to expose his weaknesses.
Dangerfield was on the right track, take him forward into deep waters and drown him.
If I was Mitchell I'd either do that or just king hit him, make it a good one.
Mitchell knows the importance of Grand Finals and the Hawks need to do all they can to win.
He's our best runner, which is part of his arsenal. You can't run off him, he's like the terminator.Just don't engage him. Run off him and don't stop running. You'll blow him up by quarter time.

You like many on here obviously know very little about him.Just don't engage him. Run off him and don't stop running. You'll blow him up by quarter time.
