The violence approach is dumb, really dumb. It hardly ever works. Here are a few examples of old-school thuggery in the modern game:
Alistair Lynch goes postal: team loses
J Brown in 2004 GF punches Josh Carr in the head at the bottom of a pack: team loses
TD knocks out Gavin Brown in the 1990 GF: team loses
Mark Yeats tries to take out Brereton 1989: team loses

Non GF games

Hawks draw a line in the sand: team loses
Dean Solomon takes out Cameron Ling: team loses

There are probably a lot more examples, but these are the ones that first came to mind. The two notable exceptions are Lloyd cleaning up Sewell and Barry Hall KO'ing the west coast bloke.

Maybe calling him a w***er was a bit OTT, but after reading Dawson's story on how he almost gave up his career after that incident...it's just such a nasty thing to do to a young kid.

Considering he is a limited athlete, players should be looking to expose his weaknesses.
Dangerfield was on the right track, take him forward into deep waters and drown him.

If I was Mitchell I'd either do that or just king hit him, make it a good one.
Mitchell knows the importance of Grand Finals and the Hawks need to do all they can to win.

That is disrespectful to the Hawks who are going in as favorites and minor premiers. Even I, as a freo fan, find this insulting.

There is more to being an athlete than running, for eg: Jumping, hence Dangerfields theory to take Crowley deep into the forward line and expose him.

That is an absolutely ridiculous statement, do some research on how many free kicks his opponents have been awarded as he legally negates their influence on the game. You and all other club supporters would just love to have a Crowley in your side.

Essendon got less than they deserved but fortunately there is more to come and the sooner the better. The relativity to their disgraceful behaviour and how Crowley plays the game is nil.

Have you seen Clarke play against Hawthorn? Lol. Maybe it's just against us but he is next to useless. Happy if we direct a lot of ball through his direct opponent.

From your last two posts I can safely say the only times you've probably ever watched Freo are when they've played your side. Clarke is a developing ruckman who has made exceptional progress in the second half of the year and is an excellent foil to Sandi. I would take him ahead of any ruckman at Hawthorn.

In regards to Dawson, well I can't be bothered since the overwhelming perception from opposition fans is the same, it's still funny though that the average BF mug reckons they're a better coach than Ross Lyon though.
