Nobody who has played 11 AFL games and been suspended for an off-field misdemeanor in his debut season has earned his stripes.

Nah, he has "it". Genuinely believe he is a multiple All Australian waiting to happen. I would have been happy if we had given him more years.

I don't think a first year player should be missing games due to failing to meet off field standards, I don't think 11 games is a big enough body of work to earn more years, I want players to be committed and professional, especially as they establish themselves.

I've said my piece. Hope he flourishes into a very good player.

If he can smash a couple of cans without getting himself into trouble and perform like he has been at the top level I couldn't give two shits. Think everyone gets a bit precious about AFL players. Young fit lads on good coin that spend the majority of their time in a "blokey" environment. Like they aren't going to have a couple. If it's not having an impact on their fitness and playing capability it's really a non issue.

Do you know something the rest of us don't? He had a few drinks with Brennan Cox, his family and Brennan's family on one Sunday. Whether it was a legitimate mistake or not, they still got punished with a suspension. If they were smashed and causing problems we would have heard of it through the media. Stop blowing it out of proportion as if it was some terrible act because it wasn't.
