Ryan Ferguson: PSD?

Just read that Ryan Ferguson, of the Demons, has been delisted. I hope we pick him up, as he is a key tall defender who was quite serviceable during his time at the Dees. However, he has been severely plagued by injury, which could be a downside to picking him up.

Although, i remember he was very highly rated a couple of years ago before he was hit by injury.

There's nothing to lose if we give him a chance, he couldn't be any worse than Saddington.

If nobody else is added to the current list of Pre Season Draftee's then I say take a punt.

I thought he was ok, but after reading a few comments here and by the fact he was delisted I must have been wrong!!

I'd like to think that we're not looking for stop-gappers at Carlton. He would probably be better in the short term, but I would much rather see us try and develop a full back that will last longer. I read the other day that he's 27 (i assume that's right), not worth it, if he was a top line FB at that age you'd take him. I'd be like drafting Dylan McClaren to take over the r...wait a second.
