Yes, but there's nothing like being there!

Last year I know the reason the Power's dinner wasn't broadcast was because Channel 7 had arranged to film the Crows first, then the Power had theirs the same night, and it was too hard to broadcast both live.

Have you noticed how the Power has changed their award night from a supporters get together at the Powerhouse (or a similar venue) to a $100+ dinner at the Convention Centre!!! Who says they aren't a Chardonnay set?

Well i used to blame channel 7, but now i blame channel 9, sure for some reason both teams best and fairest is held on the same night, is really stupid, but why do the channels every year pick the crows one and not ports, because every one knows that the crows have got more supporters, but surely one year they could let us watch it for once!

K.G and Cornesy spoke to some dude from Channel 9 on thursday arvo...Mark Colston(sp?), not sure of his exact position and I was half asleep at the time so missed parts of it and he said something about 9 and Port at the start of the year and 9 not being able to do Port's B&F and their outback odyssy thingmejig and Port told 9 the odyssy was the more important of the 2 for being televised so therefore 9 will be televising Port's outback odyssy or already has or something.....or whenever...

Would be good actually to see 9 do the Crows and 10 do Port's, up against each other.....

Honey it is easy to see why they would choose to show the Crows Club Champion and not Port's on channel 9. Ratings. You said it yourself - we have more supporters and so a greater amount of people watch it. Sorry it is the facts - besides it's Friday night - all the Port supporters are out boozing, stealing, rapeing! - ooops soory a bit low of me! You know what I mean though!
