bedford,

Thanks for dredging our marquee player through a poll that is visited by all and footy sundry. Nice work. If you had half an idea you might use your 3KZ and post issues that will cause less frenzy discussion. Red card for you my boy.

Paul Roos will urge his football department to work on a contract extension for star forward Ryan O'Keefe in a bid to stave off thoughts of his returning to Victoria.
Roos believed the out-of-contract gun was in career-best form and remained a vital part of the Swans' re-emergence as a serious premiership threat.
O'Keefe, a 2006 All-Australian and premiership player, said that he handled his own contracts and had not yet entered into discussions for a new deal with the club. The 27-year-old revealed he bristled with pride at representing Victoria in last month's Hall of Fame celebration match and would not rule out returning to the state to finish his AFL career.
"I'm out of contract and I haven't done anything about it just yet," said O'Keefe, a childhood Fitzroy supporter whose father and grandfather both played for Footscray.
"I'll just play it by ear at the moment, I'm in no rush to do anything just yet," he said.
"I love Sydney and I love being up here, but you never say never."

Sounds like he's trying to up his price a bit, but at 27 I would think he has only 1 very good contract left in him (3-4 year contract worth heaps), before becoming a 30-31 yo, with generally 1 year rolling contracts.....

he'll stay...or i go with him
but i dont think hes gonna move from sydney...he "loves the surf" and just got married, although if they did want to move it would be easier done now than in 4 years, or after his career ends

which club would he want to go to if he moved?? maybe w.bulldogs coz he went for footscray as a kid?
ewww ryano in blue red and white
no thanks
