Or did he just played his last game with us?

He was good today in the win - 34 disposal and 11 inside 50.

So whats the verdict?

My god I hope he stays- He's great for the club! :thumbsu::thumbsu: Well done Campo!

P.S. Please don't shoot me down.

imo he should stay purely because of his disposal.. its far above the rest of our midfeild.. campo and nash are very important players because they have the best skills by foot in our midfeild...

but i think he is going to have to keep playing performances like that for the next 2 games in order to stay in the team.... i feel that whoever takes the rains as coach next year we will want to do a total rebuild and that will mean campo will go, however if he gets 30 possies for the next few games itll be tough to get rid of him

Great to have heaps of young blokes out on the park but an experienced player isnt always such a bad thing... especially one who gets 35 posessions, the most inside 50's in the game (10) and the most effective kicks (17).

Well done Campo, great game!

I would rather Campo in the team then Pev.
Campo uses the ball so much better and he actually hits targets unlike Pev.

Haha and also after the Carlton supporters saw that display by him, you could tell that were pretty pissed off about getting rid of him!

I think he should stay especially since we are losing much experience from the team with Hird retiring. It would help the development of our midfield to give him another year, at least.

Yesterday's game didn't change my point of view that this is his last year.

Yes he got a lot of the ball, but I didn't think his delivery was mind-blowing (not confident that many of those inside 50s reached a target). A few mistakes stick in my mind, particularly early in the game...

I would be happy for him to stay.

There would be for my mind, plenty of people who would go before him including Cole, Heff, Bolton, MJ, Dyson, Peverill. In a weak draft, we really don't need to get rid of that many,

i am of the same opinion mate. he was good but alot of his kicks were just hit and hope. but it was good to see him have an impact on a game in the red and black.

Agree. Disposal was a little shakey early on when the pressure was on. Improved later on, did use the ball well when in space.

Sure he had a terrific game, not sure this will be enough to give him a new contract.
