Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I didn't really how average he was going. I thought that him leading the points for the whole competition might mean that he was having a good year, but now that you show me how average he has been going I think I might trade him out. Maybe for Judd or Mitchell Wish I didn't have Thompson now.

Not consistent? He is only the top scoring player of the season to date

Ablett's averaging higher(117>107), he missed a game early on. That's the only reason he's not top of the points scored.

So ablett is doing better.

Since we are comparing, might as well look at the other end of the scale too. How about scores over 130?

Bartel: 1 (136)

It's obvious that although Thompson may have had 3 "average" games this season, he has more than made up for it with massive games.

yeah tho when u raise the cut of for ur comparison to say 95 he still has only had 3 scores below but u have:
Gablett with 2 (absolute gun and having a great season, brownlow fav and best DT player in the league), Bartel 5, Corey 4 and cross 7... gee i can make stats for anything. you dont write stupid comments for dennis on friday night footy do u??

yeah i had him captain!! he tagged Simon Black for the first half and some of the second.

in regards to Thompson, while I agree he's a gun player, his crazy last four rounds have been against West Coast, Essendon, Richmond, and Hawthorn, all teams which have high possession games and limited to no taggers (Hawthorn were Sewell-less). Next week against Brisbane you would expect him to stay strong on his game but probably not get as big a score.

Geelong will be interesting to see if Ling goes to him, in which case I think they'll put him forward where Ling can't defend him. After that he'll go nuts again against Collingwood.

I didnt say hes no good but i believed he was over hyped because of a few relly great games. Look this week he was horrible with another score under 85.

95 is around about average you would want a midfielder to get...
I was pointing out that he is inconsistent and score very low as well as very high, look he got 59 this week. I think his purple patch may be over.

Had Thompson all year. First we I put him as captain and he gets his worst score.
