the baseball bat(metal) is lighter than wooden ones and cricket bats

BODY PROTECTION - GO TO ARMY SURPLUS
OR MAKE YOUR OWN
by wrapping cardboard or pillows around your body
you could also wear a few thick layers of clothing
to soften any blows

oil, you can throw lose , some of the products can be
placed in balloons, put in some product and blow up the balloon and tie it off.

Flares can be bought from boating/fishing shops

GAS MASKS
cheap masks from your hardware store(not really gas thou)
Go to your local Army surplus shop(recommend)
(SEARCH your yellowpages or their site for nearest army surplus)

GLOVES
dont leave any fingerprints laying around
and protect your hands from cuts and blisters

GOGGLES
(available from any hardware store)
if you cant get a full face gas mask
at least get goggles to protect your eyes or
use in conjunction with mouth nose mask if you
dont have any mask, soak a piece of material
like a teatowel/towel/shirt in vinegar and wrap
around your mouth and nose in conjunction with googles
for teargas protection this is ok but not preferable
to a gasmask/googles & mask.

PAINT
use spray or canned paint on pigs

or on face shields, also good on cars too.

PEPPER
I kept this separate as it very useful by itself!

HELMETS
motor bike helmets are preferable but you could
use bicycle helmets, you could buy new but you can
get helmets at your local chairty,op shop or second-hand shop
for only a few dollars
