Round 16, season 22. It was a s**t fight between the second placed royals and the sixth placed Demons that ended in a 18 point win for the Royals. Some say the demons were completely outplayed that day whilst others argue it was a matter of happenstance given that the sim was accustomed to ******* the Mount Buller Demons over.
As it turns out, it was the last enjoyable match thread the Demons would have for the rest of the season, this loss consigning them to two consecutive matches against the West Coast Wonders that this reporter believes has destroyed the fibre of the club itself.

The Mount Buller Demons sit pretty on 3rd place having accounted for the Furies last week, whilst the Royals are grasping onto 7th spot having faced the trauma that is a Bombers match thread.
Both teams will be desperate for a win, which is always the case, there is literally not a single game in the entire year that teams don't want a win.
The stats say that the team that wins a game in round 5 is more likely to experience joy directly following that round. Some would say to consider this round a battle for not just a win, but joy itself.

ROYALS
BRAB: Captain of the Royals, all round good bloke, leading goalkicker in the league. The Mount Buller Defence will have to be on their C game to contain him. Hard job for a demons defence that leaks more then a Furies leadership group PM

There are no other royals I can remember and I'm not leaving the thread submitter to check.
DEMONS
Blacky: s**t defender. s**t bloke. RU plays him at fullback for a reason. Will spam up a storm but don't expect anything good from this no hoping troglodyte.
RU_: Will play himself in the good positions in his last few weeks as captain so expect a good performane from him.
DemonJim: Leading the Mobbs Medal count according to some guy who got banned. Will probably call you a s**t poster. Will probably post s**t.
Fryer Tuck: Rising Star. expect a ton.
